| Q. What is Webcds.com? A. WebCds.com is an online music promotion service that gives independent artists, unsigned bands, and new emerging major artists exposure to the buying public. Q. Do you sell CDs? A. We don't sell CDs, all we do is direct the buying public to the artist's website. For major releases we direct the buying public to a large retailer such as Amazon.com. All transactions are done between buyer and seller or buyer and retailer directly. We are totally out of the loop. We make no commissions. Q. As an artist what does it cost to be on webcds.com? A. Webcds.com is totally free for all artists. All artists must obey the posting rules before signing up. Q. What does webcds.com charge for setting up the page for the artist? A. If you are unable to set up your artist page and would like us to do it for you, send us $19 through payal and we will take care of everything. Q. What does an artist need to sign up? A. It is required that the artist has a website and that the audio files are on the artist website. We link directly to the audio files on the artist website. Other than the artist having his or her own website with audio files there are no other requirements. Q. Does Webcds.com want anything from the artist? A. We just ask one small favor and it is not mandatory. We ask that you put a link on your website that links back to us.
